Combining Science Lessons & Mother’s Day Gifts

Mrs. Hebert's class has been studying the plant life cycle this month. They took this opportunity to plant sunflowers, daisies and coneflowers. These plants had a couple of weeks to get growing and to be observed before they went home with the students as Mother's Day gifts. Students provided daily care for the young plants and noted the changes as they grew.

Happy Mother's Day to all of our DLSEC moms!
